TASTY FOODS PEPSICO

CONSTRUCTION OF NET METERING PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEM

MGD Energy completed the licensing, design and construction of a 1MWp photovoltaic power station at Tasty Foods Pepsico, which is one of the largest companies in Greece in the savory snack market.

Technology Information

Installed power : 1 MW

Building surface : 8.000 sq.m

Photovoltaic panels: 3,030

According to a relevant announcement, the Photovoltaic power station with a total power of 1MWp was installed in the premises of the company Tasty Foods – Pepsico and was connected to the network under the Net Metering program.

Tasty Foods SA with this investment prevents the release of 1100 tons of carbon dioxide each year, in relation to energy from fossil fuels.

The project was constructed according to international standards for the construction of photovoltaic stations and more specifically according to EN 62446. Strict Safety and Hygiene measures were followed, while at the same time the smooth production process of the factory was fully ensured.

The project is a milestone in the installation of photovoltaic stations under the Net Metering program, as it is the first project that reaches the maximum power limit allowed by the Net Metering Program and marks the practical interest of large and historic companies in the country for energy saving and protection. environment. It is added to the electricity generation projects implemented by MGD Energy SA, for Industrial Groups or for investors in the field of RES and further strengthens the important position that the company holds in the field of Design, Construction and Maintenance of Photovoltaic stations.
