Project Description

MGD Energy has completed the licensing, design and construction of a 67.5kWp photovoltaic power station at Glassart, a pioneer in prefabricated multi-housing systems.

Technology Information

Installed Power: 67.5 kW

Building surface : 2.000 sq.m

Photovoltaic panels: 241

According to a relevant announcement, the Photovoltaic power plant with a total power of 67.5kWp was installed in the premises of the company Glassart and was connected to the network under the Net Metering program.

With this investment, Glassart prevents the release of 80 tons of carbon dioxide every year, in relation to energy derived from fossil fuels.

The project was constructed according to international standards for the construction of photovoltaic stations and more specifically according to EN 62446. Strict Safety and Hygiene measures were followed, while at the same time the smooth production process of the factory was fully ensured.

The project is a milestone in the installation of photovoltaic stations under the Net Metering program, as it signals the practical interest of large companies in the country for energy savings and environmental protection. It is added to the electricity generation projects implemented by MGD Energy SA, for Industrial Groups or for investors in the field of RES and further strengthens the important position that the company holds in the field of Design, Construction and Maintenance of Photovoltaic stations.
